I agree with the First Amendment because its says that they cant make a law against somebodys religion and thats true because you cant just judge someone because of their religion. I think that freedom of speech is fair because you are able to say what you think but you have to have something to back it up. But I don’t think it’s fair to control someone over their thoughts because they have the right to think that or even say it. So if somebody disagrees with something, its not right to just throw them in jail.

The First Amendment I agree with, With the Congress agrees not to make laws againsed people’s religions. I agree with this because I am religious and I believe that everyone should be able to have there own religion with out being scared of other people making fun of them or something. This is America and this is a free country that means we can believe in what we want and say what we believe without being arrested for it. I feel that, We all are the same and deserve to be treated the same. I don’t Believe that people should Tell us what we have to say and believe in.

I think the first amendment is mostly right. I think that freedom of speech is something that people should have because the right to say what they want without anyone telling them otherwise because people have their opinion and just because someone doesn’t agree with them it doesn’t mean the other person can’t say it. I think that freedom of religion is right to because you should be able to worship or do whatever they want as long as it doesn’t hurt society. I think freedom of the press is good to because if you don’t like it then don’t watch it. I think that freedom of assembly is ok too because they can gather and express what they feel and it doesn’t mean you have to stop them because how would you feel if that were you. Last but not least I think that the right to petition is a good policy as well because it is ok to want something, they can petition if it makes them feel good but it doesn’t mean it will happen.

The government has made a law saying that we the people of the United States of America have the freedom of speech and freedom of the press. The freedom of speech is us Americans being able to say what we think and what we want without getting into trouble with the law. I think freedom if speech is right to some extent. I think its right to be able to say most things that are on your mind, but some thing should just be left alone. For example, if someone says to you “you’re ugly”
For no reason except that they can, I think that that’s crossing the line a little bit. Freedom of the press is the right for the news people to get information and broadcast it, without getting the law involved. I think that’s fair, because we the people have the right to know what’s going on in the world.
